About Us |
Welcome to the home of Vermin Racing
Vermin Racing team officially formed in 2011. The goal was to become a highly competitive professional team in sim motorsport accessible to racers of all skills, from rookies to pros.
The primary simulation Vermin Racing competes with is Assetto Corsa. Prior to AC Vermin Racing had a long competitive history with Netkar Pro. As a team we are always looking for drivers to represent Vermin Racing in other sim leagues.
We have had some very successful championship campaigns and always aim to build upon each result as a team to progress to the top, openly supporting our drivers with setups and private servers to practice on before big events.

What is Vermin Racing? Vermin Racing is a PC based virtual racing team which aims to field drivers from all levels of skill in online racing leagues. Can I race for Vermin Racing? You can certainly apply to race for Vermin Racing, just send us what simulation you use and what background you have in online racing. Of course we can't always accept drivers depending on some of the simulators requirements, For example we couldn't have someone driving Gran Turismo or Forza as they are console based. Do you get paid to race for Vermin Racing? Currently; no However as the team expands, the hope is to bring on board sponsors who would be willing to provide some kind of bonus for performance based results. So maybe in the future. What is the deal with the Livery, Can other drivers see it? The livery is to promote our current sponsors and the team itself. Other racers would need to download our livery and place it in the relevant folders for Assetto Corsa to see the livery when competing online. What about helmet designs? When a driver joins Vermin Racing, they are allowed to submit their own virtual helmet design, that design is then turned into their own personal virtual helmet. How much online racing goes on for Vermin Racing? It depends on the league requirements. Each league is different, different class of cars, different number of laps etc. It is very hard to pin down until the team is entered into those leagues. Based on previous leagues roughly there was a race every week per league entered. What about practicing and learning tracks or refining setups? Once the team has been entered into a league, there will be private team practice sessions set up on our private server, which provides an opportunity to work on set ups and track learning with the help of your team mates. Vermin Racing usually is able to create a decent base setup for it's drivers to build their own set ups from. But also drivers are encouraged to experiment and develop their own setups and share them with the team to keep pushing forward. |
