Our 2019 F3 launch and Annoucement
Announcement Time!
Big news within Vermin Racing today as we announce fantastic new liveries, new drivers, and a brand spanking new team. Yes. You read that right.
The Liveries
Inspiration for this years Vermin livery started off slow, but we ended up with a livery that we all think flows great and feels fresh compared to last years. It introduces new patterns and sponsors that make the car look completely different, but still with that same old Vermin vibe.
Of course, we also had to create a brand-new livery from scratch for our new partner team, Dragon Spirit. Ideas were thrown across the board with many getting scrapped during the process, but we think the result looks fantastic, don’t you think? Of course, we had to drop a bit of green on it, so we decided on a British racing green with gold stripes as well as the occasional Vermin Green slash here and there. Weichai makes a first appearance as a main sponsor on the Dragon Spirit car as well, a very apt sponsor for the dragon-orientated team.
The Drivers
Big shake-up this year in terms of seats. Vermin keeps ahold of both Slava and Jack for next season, whilst also introducing a very promising candidate into the second series scuffle. That candidate being the talented Maxi Junger, former second series and hybrid series champion who has shown his formidable pace during pre-season testing.
On the Dragon Spirit side of things, Heigo Poom makes a debut into the second series after showing great pace within the Hybrid series and within pre-season testing at Mugello. A great asset to the newly born team. Niko Anders joins Dragon Spirit with Heigo after showing great performances last season, further strengthening the line-up. At this point, you’re probably wondering where Oscar is. Well Oscar will unfortunately be missing most of the season next year and has therefore respectfully handed his Vermin seat to Maxi. However, Oscar will be attending some races next year and will therefore be the third driver for Dragon Spirit. Richard remains the test and setup development driver as well as managing the day to day operations of Vermin with an aim to take the team to the next level.
The Team
The partnership with Dragon Spirit is exclusive for the Formula 3 series, providing a platform to display new talent and allow all our racers to be competitive and fair. Sponsored by Vermin Art and G33k-e we will look to expand our own brand and promote our league partners.
