We are all wishing a speedy recovery to our driver Chris Holman, who has had to pull out of tomorrows SRO race. Testing has gone quite well for the rest of the team, with all of us improving on our best laptimes. Looking at the laptime charts, it looks like this race will be close all the way through the field. I am expecting to see some brilliant on track battles between all the competitors. After nearly a week away from practicing the track and two weeks since the last race, I am personally looking forward to tomorrows race. A report will follow shortly after the event as usual. So time to get some more practice in... Tippet |

So the last couple of days I have been working on updating the website. WIth Vyacheslav Potapenko releasing his updated skin for SRO F3 championship which now has Vermin Racing team and Vermin Art branding on the car as sponsorship logos, Vyacheslav will also be doing some real life events later this year and has agreed to run the logos on his real life racing adventures... I wish him all the luck in the world with the Online and Real Life racing projects. You will be able to catch his online racing live on Race Department's Twitch channel and Vyacheslav's own youtube channel. Vermin Racing has also been updating it's livery. Although technically not racing this year, we have provided Vyacheslav with a 2018 livery to race with in the Race deparment stream. The 2018 livery version 2, reworked completely in a higher definition, is now available from the downloads section. Of course it's not just the livery that has been updated, I have brought the website bang up to date, including the history section and also most other pages on the site, basically not being able to race has allowed me to catch up and been able to find some snippets of information regarding the older history of Vermin Racing. This includes more information on the old Vermin GT car. Sadly the car is no longer available for download but it does display one of the first official Vermin Racing liveries. Also I have had time to research my old Speed Legends project, but have not been able to unearth anything yet for you guys, I would like to find some of the information on that if . Also made a minor update to my own personal helmet, adding a flash of color to the design and adding more ingame detail. The design is still essentially the same, but with a more detailed design, carbon fibre effect chequered patches. the green flash and blue highlights are more inline with the sponsors on the car. So that pretty much brings everthing up to date. I will be updating the website less frequently for a while but I think we have all the content you need to keep you in the loop for what is going on. Tip Vermin Racing is delighted to be sponsoring Vyacheslav Potapenko efforts in the Racedepartment and FKR formula 3 championships. Although not an official return from Vermin Racing, we are supporting Slava's efforts in both these championships by providing a new 2018 Vermin Racing skin and custom helmet design. Please go watch and support him. Race Department championship is streamed on Twitch here: https://www.twitch.tv/racedepartment and FKR has dedicated forums to their championships here: http://www.simracingonline.co.uk/forums/fkr-formula-3-championship.302/ \So we have a new 2018 livery design for the Formula 3 car. these will appear in the Download section in the next few days for public download. I have posted some nice screenshots in the gallery and below. The ultimate goal is to eventually return the Vermin Racing Team name to online racing championships... Personally as I miss racing online but have no current steering wheel setup after my old rig has finally given up the ghost. However as team we are always looking to help drivers out... although not financially but with knowledge and design. Any driver who races for Vermin Racing will be supported by other members of the team, have a custom VRT livery and also a custom made Helmet design and also documented results and history.
So if that sounds appealing, get in contact Tippet |
