| BIG NEWS... First of all, Massive congratulations to Vyacheslav Potapenko. He did a great pair of races in the SRO championship He was in close pursuit to another driver for most of the first 15 minutes of Race 1, unfortunately a lunge down the inside of the driver was unsuccessful when the driver closed the gap and the pair collided. Vyacheslav managed to bring the car home in 5th. Race 2 was much better and Vyacheslav was running a good race in the top 3. eventually crossing the line in 3rd! This puts Vyacheslav 4th in the Drivers championship and importantly Vermin Racing Team are in 1st place in the Constructors. Now on to the biggest news... watching the event live really made me want to compete, So I pulled out the old steering wheel, blew the dust off from it, plugged it in and prayed. Well the gods of racing were listening because it returned to life! YES you heard correct, a steering wheel which was refusing to work for months and months , suddenly works again! Well now I am flipping a coin as if I should enter the next SRO race? I did a test at Mugello (A track I am not familiar with) to see how I feel about racing, well the confidence is not quite there in the track knowledge I managed to post a 1:49 within 4 laps...No idea how competitive this is in terms of other racers. Currently waiting on my SRO forum log in to be aprroved and make a decision. The main problem is I do not have the time to put in to practice constantly on the tracks so I am just going to have to rely on my skills in setting up the car quickly and mainly racing on the limit! But that is part of the fun of Virtual Motorsport! Let's get Vermin Racing back up the top! Also trying out a a new look to the Blog posts... just to make them a bit more interesting to look at.
