| Vermin Racing Team is delighted to make some exciting annoucements. New league, New Driver, New Livery, New helmets! Having completed a successful campaign in the Sim Racing Online F3 series. We decided to enter what many consider the TOP and most competitive Assetto Corsa league. Formula Trout! Comprised of some of the biggest names in Assetto Corsa, it will be a challenging season for our drivers. But we are confident we can make an impact and put in a respectable performance for the up comming season. We are also delighted to announce our new driver signing. Roel Postma. Roel who raced against us in SRO was a solid racing driver and is a great signing for the team looking at his SRO racing career he has a great depth of experience and we hope together to build upon that and add his skills to our talented stable of drivers. We have a brand new livery design. A much tidier approach to the old colours of Vermin Racing. Designed to stand out on and off track. Each of our drivers have a unique identifying colour scheme on the roll hoop, mirrors and rear wing end plates so it should now be easier to spot each car on track. Each car is available to individually download in the Livery Section of the website: HERE or you can download the entire set of Vermin F3 cars here: Make sure you download and place the files in your SteamLibrary/steamapps/Assetto Corsa/Content/cars/dallara_317/skins folder. With a new livery, some of our drivers decided to update their helmet designs. With Roel's new helmet sporting a the colours of the Netherlands, his bright distinctive helmet is easily recognizable. Jack has gone with a beautiful blue and white design which really looks fantastic zipping around the track, and Slava has gone with a simple but aggressive carbon black and Ukraine based colour scheme helmet. Richard has updated his own helmet to now sport some Vermin green initials but his helmet remains the same basic design and Oscar's has kept his original design which always looks great (especially when leading a race) So what now? Well the next race of Formula Trout is this Sunday (24th) we are currently rushing to get the cars set up and ready to race (Richard is not racing in this league due to Time restraints so he is now Test driving and being a manager for this one). When SRO returns with a new league we shall be entering it but for now our focus is fully on Trout. So keep supporting us and hopefully follow our progress as we battle it out. Richard. |
